“To ask the Chief Executive for an update on any negotiations with local land

owners on providing a resolution to resolving the issue of the extremely bad and

dangerous access by vehicles from Healy’s Lane and the Whitestown Road,

Rush?”

Reply:

The Council has not been successful in negotiations with the local landowner in

question. The indications are that agreement is unlikely to be achieved.

Accordingly the Traffic Section has been requested to re-examine the location to

determine if a resolution that doesn’t involve land acquisition can be identified.
