To ask the Chief Executive to have the Brook Stream Rush cleaned and all debris removed prior to major winter
rainfalls and allow the excess surface water run freely inhibited from built up areas?”
Reply:
The Operations Department recently carried out extensive cleaning works at the Brook Stream within the Kenure
Woods Park area, however stream access to the west is complicated as there are a number of private landowners
impacting the condition of the river at different locations. The Council will continue to mitigate the excess surface
water within the areas of Council ownership.
