“To ask the Chief Executive to include the upgrading the foot paths on the lower
Channel Road in future work projects in order bring them up to a safe standard
similar to the scheme already carried out on the upper Channel Road last year. The
Channel road is a popular walking route in the town and with the deterioration of the
paths they now become a health and safety issue?”
Reply:
The reconstruction of the footpath at the location referred to in the question will be
listed for consideration in future Special Works Programmes.
