"That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to urgently devise a
method for locals using the North Beach to cross the stream in order to
prevent the growing number of incidents where falls into the stream are
being reported.”
Report: The mouth of the Brook Stream at Rush will be examined in the
context of the Coastal Flooding study for the Rogerstown Outer Estuary
which has recently commenced. In particular the variability of the terrain
on either side of the mouth of the stream will be assessed with a view to
addressing difficulties with crossing the stream at this location.
