ITEM NO. 78

Question: Councillor B. Dennehy

“To ask the Chief Executive to install white lining for traffic to stop on both Daly’s

Lane and Healy’s Lane, Rush where they enter onto Channel Road so as to give

protection to traffic passing the junction travelling on Channel Road?”

Reply:

Healys lane is 4.6m in width and Dalys lane is 3.4m in width. Both lanes as they

intersect with Channel road have Yield signs. Due to the road widths in both

instances it would not be possible to provide yield road markings and white

lining.
