Question: Councillor B. Dennehy - Derelict Buildings on Main Street, Rush.
“To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the works carried out on
the derelict buildings on Main Street, Rush as agreed with the
Developer on 15th January with Fingal County Council Planning
Department and what measures will be taken if the works are not
carried out?“
Reply:
With respect to the programme of works agreed on site on the 15th
January 2019, correspondence issued to the owners on the 22nd January
2019 outlining the works agreed and associated timelines. The Council
has recently indicated verbally and in writing to the owners that there is
not satisfactory progress to date with respect to the agreed works and
that formal notice under the Derelict Sites Act is under preparation with
other legislative options also under consideration.
