“To ask the Chief Executive to formulate a plan to carry out immediate actions in
the event of flooding on the Northern end of the Palmer Road Rush which is
prone to severe flooding over the winter months often making the road
impassable in light of the increase strategic importance of the road created by
the Rush / Skerries Road closure. Flood relief measures and possible temporary
reopening of the Rush / Skerries Road should be considered when formulating
the plan?”
Reply:
The location referred to in the question will be examined and any remedial
works that are identified will be addressed.
