Footpath Adjustment Main Street, Lusk

COMHAIRLE CONTAE FHINE GALL

FINGAL COUNTY COUNCIL

BALBRIGGAN/SWORDS AREA COMMITTEE MEETING

[Services A – Operational Matters]

Thursday, 10th November, 2016

ITEM NO. 60

Question: Councillor B. Dennehy

"To ask the Chief Executive to reduce the height of the footpath opposite the

Veterinary hospital on the Main street of Lusk so as to allow wheelchairs to cross

at the point to the lowered footpath opposite?"

Reply:

The provision of an additional dished footpath crossing point at the location

referred to in the Question is not considered appropriate as there is an existing

raised platform pedestrian road crossing within 25 Metres.
