"To ask the Chief Executive to prioritise the removal of graffiti from the column
bases of the Portico, Kenure, Rush?”
Reply:
As the Portico, Kenure, Rush is a Protected Structure the Conservation Officer
has been consulted and has advised that specialist stone contractors be
contacted to give guidance on the most appropriate method to remove the
graffiti without damaging the historic stonework. The works will be carried out
on foot of obtaining this advice.
