Kenure Park Rush – Public Bins

COMHAIRLE CONTAE FHINE GALL

FINGAL COUNTY COUNCIL

BALBRIGGAN/SWORDS AREA COMMITTEE MEETING

[Services A – Operational Matters]

Thursday 13th November, 2014

ITEM NO. 51

Question: Councillor B Dennehy

“To ask the Chief Executive to have the graffiti currently on the public bins and the bridge in Kenure park as well

as the fallen tree trunk turned into a public seating area cleaned up ( pictures of which are attached?“

Reply:

Graffiti is a huge ongoing problem at this location. The Operations Department has replaced vandalised bins at

Kenure Woods in the recent past. However, we are liaising closely with Rush Tidy Towns and their newly developed

‘Adopt a Woods Project’ on all matters relating to landscaping proposals for Kenure Woods.
