ITEM NO. 54

Question: Councillor B Dennehy

“To ask the Chief Executive to carry out the removal of trees in Mill Hill Park, Skerries of which five number are a

cause of major concern due to increasing levels of cracking created to local properties and public pathways to

local residents of which eighteen households in close proximity have previously portioned on for the same

purpose?”

Reply:

These trees have been inspected on a number of occasions on foot of concerns from the residents. The trees are

in good condition, have been crown lifted in the past and do not meet the criteria of the adopted tree strategy to

remove otherwise healthy trees.
