Question: Councillor B. Dennehy

"To ask the Chief Executive to examine and come forward with solutions to protect

and maintain the stretch of pathway and what was a grassed area on the Palmer

Road Rush on the section of pathway between the Ravenswell / Thornchase

entrance to Palmer Avenue where cars and trucks are currently using the area as an

unofficial carpark?"

Reply:

The location referred to in the question has been examined and there was no

evidence to indicate that vehicles were being parked on the grass areas or on the

footpaths. The location will be monitored on an ongoing basis.
