Question: Councillor B. Dennehy -
"To ask the Chief Executive to update the Area Committee on the
latest status of providing the proposed all weather site in the sports
hub north of St Catherines Estate Rush and provide this Committee
with the latest communication that has happened to provide the site
for the facility."
Reply: The Council is continuing to pursue the provision of suitable open
space in Rush with a view to developing an All-weather pitch to meet local
recreational needs. Arrangements will be made in the coming weeks to
meet with the relevant developers with a view to advancing this matter.
