“That the Chief Executive present this Committee with the proposed road
traffic and signal layout for both the “Tesco Junction“ and the Brook Road
where the new road is due to intersect with it as well as provide the delivery
dates of openings on the same junctions.”
Report:
Discussions are ongoing between the Developer, FCC Building Control, FCC
Operations & FCC Transportation Planning to finalise the Brook Lane/Park
Road & Tesco Junction layouts with a view to achieving compliance and to
commence the Taken in Charge process. Current markings and bollards are
temporary measure to allow the traffic on Brook Lane to follow through
until the new road from Tesco is opened. Final layout drawings can be
presented to the ACM when submitted to the Council.
