"To ask the Chief Executive to install public lighting and columns on the

Spout Road, Rush on the stretch Starting at Whitestown Road alone with

the bend prior to the first light at the Channel Road end of the Spout

Road?"

Reply:

There are no plans to provide lighting along this section of Spout Road.

Expenditure of this level is beyond the scope of the public lighting works

budget and such a scheme could only ever be considered in the context of

a possible future road widening scheme.
