"To ask the Chief Executive to review and extend the opening hours of the public
toilets in the Harbour Park, Rush to enhance the new public amenity of the new
playground and maximise its usage and avoid parents having to use toilet
facilities in commercial premises for small children?"
Reply:
Current resources would not allow for extending the opening hours. The
majority of playgrounds maintained by the Council, with the exception of those
in the regional parks, do not have a toilet block located close by. The situation
will be kept under review and should additional resources become available
some extension of times might be possible.
