"To ask the Chief Executive to work with the Rush Christmas Lights Committee in

their efforts to locate and identify permanent public locations in Rush where lighting

can be permanently and discretely erected beginning with the two locations already

communicated to the Operations Department in order to cut down on the annual

cost of erecting the lights?"

Reply:

Staff from the Operations Department met recently with the Committee to discuss

their wishes for Christmas lights in the town. A site meeting is scheduled for the

morning of the 12th November, to further explore the issues. The Department is

happy to work with the committee.
