Rush/Lusk Train Station Pathway to Rush

COMHAIRLE CONTAE FHINE GALL

FINGAL COUNTY COUNCIL

BALBRIGGAN/SWORDS AREA COMMITTEE MEETING

[Services A – Operational Matters]

Thursday, 12th May 2016

ITEM NO. 18

Question: Councillor B. Dennehy

“To ask the Chief Executive to prioritise the public footpaths from John Martins

Lane Rush and along the route into the town of Rush for maintenance and

clearing of the growth and soil which in parts is covering over 50% of the

footpath. The spread of the soil and growth has made the route a health and

safety issue for pedestrians using the path and in particular those using prams

as the current situation is pushing them tantalisingly close to oncoming traffic?”

Reply:

The cleaning of the footpath referred to in the Question will be included in the

Area Engineers Maintenance Programme.
