"To ask the Chief Executive to outline the expected timelines anticipated on
delivery of the plans / construction works required for the upper floor and roof
upgrading of Rush Multipurpose Youth Facility and to confirm if a source of
funding to complete the project has been earmarked for the project."
Reply
It is intended to bring Part 8 planning to the Balbriggan Swords Area Committee
in December, the plans will then go out to public display and it is anticipated
that, taking the Christmas period into account, this process will take seven
weeks. It is hoped therefore to bring the plans back to the Area Committee in
February and to full Council in March.
Funding to support this project has been ring-fenced in the Capital Budget.
