“This committee calls on the Chief Executive to convene regular briefing sessions
during the course of the planned exceptionally disruptive three month Rush /
Skerries full road closure to accommodate the Rush Sewage Network scheme.
Both public and community representatives should be represented and updated
through discussions on the progress or informed of any unforeseen issues
arising during the construction of the 800 mtr project.”
Report:
The Contractor working on this project has been contacted and requested that
regular updates on work progress are circulated locally through the recognised
channels in Rush (Rush Community Council etc). In the event of any unforeseen
issues arising as part of the works programme, updates will be posted and
circulated.
