“To ask the Chief Executive to provide for a speed ramp at prior to the entrance
to the South Shore public car park Rush and include it in the 2018 works
programme?”
Reply:
There was a ramp on the exit to the public car park that was removed as part of
the Irish Water works in the area. Jons Civil Engineering have advised that they
expect to replace the ramp in the coming weeks, subject to weather conditions
allowing.
The provision of additional ramps is not possible due the gradient of the road
approaching the car park and the reduced forward visibility.
