COMHAIRLE CONTAE FHINE GALL

FINGAL COUNTY COUNCIL

BALBRIGGAN/SWORDS AREA COMMITTEE MEETING

[Services A – Operational Matters]

Thursday, 13th October 2016

ITEM NO. 36

Question: Councillor B. Dennehy

"To ask the Chief Executive to install new white traffic stop lines at either end of

Healy's Lane, Rush and give particular consideration to the Channel Road end in

order to compliment the recently installed stop lines put on the other side of the

junction on Daly's Lane?"

Reply:

Healys lane is 4.6m in width and Dalys lane is 3.4m in width. Both lanes as they

intersect with Channel road have Yield signs. Due to the road widths in both

instances yield road markings would not normally be provided. No additional

road markings are proposed at this location
