"To ask the Chief Executive for a progresses report on a request for a speed reader

on both the Whitestown and Skerries road into Rush?"

Reply:

The traffic survey and study of accident statistics at this location is still ongoing. On

completion of the survey an assessment of appropriate traffic calming options,

including the provision of speed readers, will be given consideration. A further

report will be presented to this Committee following the completion of the analysis of

the relevant data.
