“To ask the Chief Executive to prioritize the clearing of the Brook stream in Rush
of both debris and over growth so as to keep the stream from flooding made
more likely due to the developments in the area from the rear of Hayestown to
its entry to the sea?”
Reply:
Fingal County Council is limited in terms of the works that can be carried out as
there is only a small stretch of this stream on public lands. However, when
conditions are favourable this section is flailed usually bi annually to attend to
the debris and over growth.
