"To ask the Chief Executive if all funding applications for community festivals in
2019 will match amounts received in 2018 and will there be scope to increase
the amounts funded in 2018?"
Reply:-
Applications will be accepted for existing and/or new events or festivals which
animate public spaces in creative and innovative ways and which are focused on
developing measurable tourism impacts in the County. The deadline for
completed applications is 3pm on Monday, 14th January 2019.
Previous awarding of funding is not an indication that future funding will be
awarded or maintained. The level of funding awarded will be dependent on the
number of valid applications received i.e. those which meet the criteria of the
Events Financial Scheme 2019.
