"To ask the Chief Executive to provide costings of providing the outer Ring
Road in Rush Starting at the Whitestown exit prior to the Old Road
junction and exiting at the Skerries Road so as to allow an application for
funding to be submitted similar to the Donabate Bye Pass
Reply:
The Outer Rush Road is been developed in phases to correspond with
housing development in the area. Neither the horizontal alignment of
road or road cross section has been examined in any detail for the section
of road north of Park Road. This information would be required to provide
a reasonably accurate cost estimate for road construction, service
alterations and land acquisition therefore it would be premature to
attempt to provide a cost estimate for the project at this time.
